Cut+Run’s Graham Turner Is Epic For “£1,000 Man” for Moneysupermarket.com
Ordinary chum Gary turns his life into an epic adventure with 1980’s flair in the new Moneysupermarket.com spot edited by Cut+Run’s Graham Turner for agency Mother. Directed with action-packed panache and retro hilarity by Furlined’s Speck/Gordon, the spot is a tour de force of awesomeness in the vein of Magnum P.I. and other montage-driven show opens.
With Moneysupermarket.com Gary’s alter ego is the £1,000 Man, complete with his own theme song. The transformation comes with the savings rendered using Moneysupermarket.com, the UK site where users can compare insurance rates and more to save money on household bills. Viewers are treated to a montage of delights with Gary in the starring role: action man, lover, and occasional costume wearer. As noted in the spot’s conclusion: so money.
