At 51, he has been one of the most awarded copywriters/creative directors in Brazil over the last years. Among many awards, four Cannes Lions (two in films), D&AD, One Show pencils, New York and London festivals, Clio Awards, São Paulo Creative Club, El Ojo de Iberoamerica, El Sol, Fiap, among others. Before founding Santa Clara eight years ago, Fernando was ECD at Giovanni,FCB São Paulo. As a creative leader in Santa Clara, Fernando has appeared in the pages of Creativity, Campaign, Shots, Latin Spots, Adlatina, Advertising Age always in the context of a new leadership. Fernando is often invited as a jury member in competitions such as D&AD, Clio, El Sol, El Ojo, CCSP, Wave, London Festivals and New York Festivals. Fernando is also a teacher at Miami Ad School and well-known speaker at marketing and advertising events. He spoke at Cannes in the Independent Agency Seminar in 2009. He is the only creative in the history of Brazilian advertising to be president of both CCRJ (Creative Circle of Rio de Janeiro) and CCSP (Creative Circle of São Paulo), the two most prestigious creative associations in the country.
