As Group Executive Creative Director at R/GA, Genevieve Hoey leads a team of more than 40 systematic and campaign creatives to create innovative, holistic, storytelling-driven campaigns for clients like Nike, Converse, Planned Parenthood and more. Passionate about using her powers for good, Genevieve is a LGBTQ activist and actively involved in leading the R/GA LGBTQ Network initiatives. Prior to moving to New York City, Genevieve was a global creative lead on Booking.com at Wieden + Kennedy Amsterdam. She’s made spots of varying lengths and languages, integrated campaigns, short films, content series, interactive installations, music videos and more. She’s won international awards from top shows including Cannes and D&AD but is most proud of crashing a car into a mountain, dropping someone in a shark tank and another in a giant pudding, all in the name of creative cut-through. Her hobbies used to include crate digging for Northern Soul music, spontaneous travel and the hunt for the dirtiest martini. However, they’re now more about achieving five hours of consecutive sleep and doing the bidding of her two young sons.
