John Godsey
John’s talent for pushing creative boundaries has been evident throughout his 25-year career. He spent his formative years in Chicago, where his Coors Light “Twins” campaign was parodied on “SNL,” analyzed in The New York Times Magazine and featured in “Scary Movie 3.” Seeing how brands could blur the line between advertising and entertainment, John went on to create the branded entertainment discipline at Team Detroit for Ford and Lincoln. In 2010, John brought his brand-building experience to VML. While helping to win nearly 50 Cannes Lions since, his main focus has been to integrate new campaign/digital creative thinking with media, tech, data and other disciplines to help create one of the few 360-degree offerings in advertising today.
