Our clients at MUH·TAY·ZIK | HOF·FER wanted to create a back-to-school spot featuring essential school supplies in a beautiful and calming way designed to relax the viewer as much as inform. Soothe as much as sell. Executive Creative Director Jon Noorlander presented initial design frames that took ordinary school supplies and turned them into sculptural pieces of art. Key callout products were modeled and textured to be photo-real before simulating them in C4D and Houdini to create mesmerizing patterns and sculptures. The use of Octane played a crucial role in ensuring a seamless workflow and final rendering with the limited turnaround from inception to final delivery.
