In this film, we see a full orchestra made up of people who have missed out on celebrating birthdays, graduations, Easter, weddings, bar mitzvahs, Ramadan, Chinese New Year and much more. Santa hits a pinata, the Easter Bunny rides in on a sleigh and a halloween monster plays the timpani. Led by a central singer on a piano, together they all play an original song - inspiring people to pack everything they’ve missed in 2020 into one big day and make this year bigger than Christmas.  

In 2020, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, many parts of Australia endured the longest continuous lockdown in the world. As the end of the year neared, the lockdown restrictions were eased, meaning Christmas was the first time many Australian families could come together and celebrate.
