​'The Long Goodbye' is a short film created by Riz Ahmed and Aneil Karia. The film accompanies the release of Riz Ahmed’s critically acclaimed album 'The Long Goodbye', the film, is directed by Aneil Karia, whose debut feature won a Jury prize at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. Taking us on a journey that is both intimate and devastating, the 11-minute short film is an unflinching and look at an imagined far-right nightmare of Britain. It was compared to Oscar winning 'Parasite' in its unforgettable execution, by film critic Mark Kermode and was raised during Prime Minister’s Questions in the UK Houses of Parliament, as required viewing for law-makers. 

'The Long Goodbye' is a feat of the imagination. It tells a story of our shared history and bring us haltingly to the present crossroads we face as a multicultural society, revealing how intertwined our fates have been and raising the question of whether a future together is still possible.
