Filmed in 360 with full ambisonic sound, The Wayback is the first virtual reality series of memory films targeted at those living with dementia and those who care for them.
Offering the opportunity to briefly live in a positive moment from the past, and once again feel the emotions that went with it – enabling conversations and connections with their carer.
For the pilot, we re-enacted a street party from the 1953 Coronation, immersing the viewer in the sights, sounds and even conversations of the time to create thousands of memory triggers.
