COVID-19 has changed the world drastically and reshaped who we are, and at times has forced us to isolate and shelter in place. Yet the virus has also revealed the best of human nature. Across Facebook platforms, people reached out, supported each other, proved their resiliency and ingenuity and revealed the truth that social distancing can't stop the solidarity we feel for each other. ‘Never Lost’ is a meditation on the power of human connection during a time when we cannot be with one another. Set to an excerpt from Kate Tempest's 2019 poetic track ‘People’s Faces,’ the film drove to Facebook’s Community Help function, a hub for people to request and offer help related to the pandemic, reminding us that we’re never lost if we can find each other.
