Most of us rely on our sight every moment of every day. And that makes us more likely to assume that blind and partially sighted people (BPS) are helpless and unable to live normal lives. This assumption is both incorrect and hugely damaging.

With limited budget, we couldn’t rely on traditional formats and channels to drive awareness of the issue.

We needed something unexpected to help the public see sight loss differently and make them realise how inventive and capable the BPS community are.

Introducing The See Differently Collection.
Inspired by the simple yet ingenious life hacks created by BPS people to maintain their independence, the range of products rebranded everyday objects to reflect their alternative use. Turning the concept of accessible design on its head with the users being the designers.

The Design Museum championed the project, elevating the BPS as innovators by selling the products alongside the heroes of design.

Empowering the community and raising much needed funds for the charity at the same time.
