“Great shows stay with you” is the new slogan for Amazon Prime Video – the campaign displays the lasting effects of immersive television on its audience. We were delighted to work on the two films by Droga5 London, directed by Steve Rogers, that show their protagonists behaving in extraordinary (and occasionally inappropriate) ways. A man delivering a guttural, impassioned pep-talk to a table football team-mate in front of a scandalised children’s birthday party, is revealed to have been watching a half time team talk from Pep Guardiola the night before. Our score underlines both the genuine passion and farcical enthusiasm the characters have adopted as a direct influence of watching their favourite TV shows.
