Since 2001, Manners McDade Management & Agency has represented some of the finest composers working in film, television, games and advertising and we now work with Berlin-based agency schneider+ to ensure our clients have representation in the markets of continental Europe.

Manners McDade Music Publishing Limited is a UK music publisher established in 2006.  Our catalogue includes the work of top film and TV composers as well as a select roster of European composers, many of whom come from a classical background.

We offer a first class service from registration to international collection of royalties from our network of sub-publishers that covers all major territories and we specialise in the synchronisation and exploitation of our catalogue.

Our success is founded on providing our clients and customers with the highest standards of professionalism, honesty in all our relationships, and an unparalleled attention to detail.

Manners McDade Management & Agency are proud to represent an exclusive list of composers writing for film, television, theatre and advertising.

TV highlights for 2014 include returning TV series of Silent Witness, DCI Banks, Scott & Bailey, Rev, and The Village from Company Pictures which is also producing the historical drama, New Worlds.  There will also be a major new series from BBC Natural History Unit, Hidden Kingdoms.

Jon Opstad, Jeremy Holland-Smith, Tom Hodge, and Joby Talbot all have new ballet/dance commissions premiering in the UK, Germany and the US, and there will be new albums of original music from Poppy Ackroyd and Roger Goula.

Manners McDade Music Publishing Ltd was launched in 2006 to represent the publishing interests of composers and songwriters working in film, television, games and advertising.

Since 2006, our company has expanded to sign composers and songwriters from across Europe.  Our A&R policy is to work with writers and musicians with whom we share a philosophy – and whose music we love.  We work alongside our writers to develop a creative and flexible plan designed to cater for both their practical needs and artistic fulfilment.

As well as offering agency representation to our composers in the field of film, television, games and advertising, we also specialise in music for dance and theatre.

Internationally, we work closely with our network of sub-publishers who have specialist local knowledge of all major territories.

At Manners McDade Sync we provide distinctive music for synchronisation in games, advertising, film and television production.

When you require a bespoke commissioned soundtrack we have a roster of renowned, award-winning composers and arrangers based in London and Berlin.

If you would prefer to licence an existing work, Manners McDade exclusively represent music specially selected by us for its suitability to sync including the catalogues of Ghostly International, One Little Indian, and Morr Music.

From inspiration to administration our Sync team are renowned for their insight, imagination and depth of musical knowledge.

We represent Iain Cooke, whose credits include 2012 BAFTA winning drama The Fades, dark thrillers Good Cop, What Remains and The Driver, Waterloo Road and period drama Call the Midwife. Iain also supervised Sky Atlantic’s first original British drama Hit & Miss starring Chloe Sevigny as a pre-op transexual hitman for which he won both the UK & International 2013 Music&Sound awards for best use of existing music in a TV programme.

He has recently supervised forthcoming feature films Until I Rise staring Freida Pinto and Second Coming with Idris Elba for Film4 and is currently supervising Cucumber (8×60′; Ch4) and Banana (8×30′; E4), Russell T. Davies’ brand new dramas exploring the passions and pitfalls of 21st century gay life; Spotless (10×60′), a new dark comedy drama for Canal+ about a forensic crime cleaner who gets drawn into the underbelly of criminal London; the Guy Hibbert penned One Child (2×90; BBC2) directed by John Alexander and Eran Creevy’s new feature Autobahn starring Anthony Hopkins, Ben Kingsley and Nicholas Hoult.

We have a wealth of knowledge of music publishing issues including the blanket licensing regulations and we believe that knowledge of how a composer scores music is integral to the role of Music Supervisor.
