We are Likefriends, a people first agency.
We engage people with brands, by placing people first.

We believe attention should be treated with respect and can only be earned with empathy.
That’s why, in everything we do, we strive to produce work that engages people and forges long lasting relationships. It forces us to rethink how brands and people interact, and advocate for communication that adds value to people and the culture they inhabit.

We like to see our Amsterdam office as a cultural slice of the city itself: dynamic, multi-cultural, approachable, and full of people who like to combine hard work with tons of fun. But don’t take our word for it. Placed in a former garage along one of the city’s lesser known canals, we’re accessible by both water and land. Our team can be found regularly at events, but we also have a phone.

Likefriends isn’t just our name. It is our mentality.
Working like friends means communicating without a facade, knowing honesty and openness forms stronger relationships. It’s standing up for your beliefs and ideas, knowing there is little progress without challenges. It’s embracing different perspectives as opportunities to broaden our understanding of the world around us. Below you’ll find some of the brands we’re friends with.

We humans use empathy to place ourselves in the shoes of others.
Our empathy ensures we get on the same wavelength, by which we strengthen and foster our mutual bond. This works exactly the same between people and the brands they love. Unfortunately, most brands still prefer to provide a lengthy introduction of themselves, before listening to the other – creating miscommunication and hindering the relationship before it can grow.

On our quest to truly engage people with brands we developed a continuous and iterative process informed by people: the Empathy Loop®.

This process allows us to explore and discover, to test and to tweak, and to constantly increase our understanding of the world around us. Ensuring engagement solutions that find a place in culture and evolve within it.
