Founded in 2001, Illusion is an award winning CGI studio based in Bangkok, Thailand established by Surachai Puthikulangkura Starting out as a photo retouching company, Illusion is the extensive and highest skill in post-production (creative retouching, image manipulation) for print production.
Further to the forefront of photo-realistic illustration, Illusion became master of all print expertise with the best integrated skills and evolved into a CGI Studio (Computer Generated Imagery) in 2010. With 35 members in the team, our highly professional CGI artists and retouchers craft with passion and produce the finest quality works with delicate detail. Equipped with knowledge and experience in still photography, retouching and illustration, combined with advanced CGI skills that emphasize on the creative designs and conceptual ideas, we strive for the best results. The highest quality of visuals and the satisfaction of our clients are always top priority. Since 2001 to present, our total achievements from world class advertising festivals add up to 2,714 awards altogether, including 38 Grand Prix awards and being named "Production Company of the Year" from Clio Awards 2015, Adfest 2013, 2014, 2016, “Regional Production Company of the Year for Asia” from London International Awards 2018, 2019, Production House of the Year from B.A.D Awards 2018 and Production House of the Year from Adman Awards 2019. Illusion became well-known worldwide, winning Asia’s first ever Cannes Grand Prix with “Heaven and Hell”, which was collaborated with JWT Shanghai in 2011. In 2012 to 2013, Illusion claimed Gold Illustration at Cannes Lions two years in a row with “Civilization - Egypt and Rome” for Maxam tooth paste, a collaboration with JWT Shanghai and “Clingy animals”, for Sunlight dish-washing detergent, a collaboration with Lowe Thailand.
Illusion has traveled a great path of success by winning 38 Grand Prix from international festivals such as Cannes Lions, London International, Spikes Asia, Dubai Lynx, Adfest and AD Stars including 3 Yellow Pencils from D&AD, numerous Gold from Cannes Lions, The One Show, Clio Awards, Art Directors Club, Andy Awards, AWARD, Epica Awards, Eurobest, New York Festival, The Cup Awards, EL Ojo, Best Swiss Poster of the Year, Singapore’s Grand Prix the Creative Circle Awards, Thailand’s Best of Show Adman Awards and Best of the Best B.A.D Awards.
