CHEAT is a grading and finishing studio founded in 2015 by colourist Toby Tomkins.
At CHEAT, we believe in the art of what we do. It's about understanding the creative message, presentation and technical requirements, while being brave in offering original ideas. Using modern technology and working practices, CHEAT tailors their approach to each project through communication and open dialogue with the artists.
The CHEAT team is built around encouraging the individual talents and personalities of each artist, and celebrating their differences. Based in Hackney, East London, the CHEAT studio space is influenced by the vibrant local community, with a relaxed and collaborative atmosphere. We use the latest remote preview technology to deliver work efficiently for our clients here in London, and further afield in Europe, Asia and the US.
Creatively recognised for work on commercials, promos, documentaries, short and feature-length films, CHEAT has been short listed at the British Arrow Craft Awards and UK Music Video Awards.
