How did Irresistible come about?

Independently owned and operated by three partners, Irresistible Films has been trading since February 2007.  Irresistible was created through the merging of three complimentary, specialist moving image companies. Recognising the growth in more diverse media campaigns, Irresistible built a bold vision to offer a comprehensive and integrated suite of video services to advertising agencies, PR companies and Experiential/Events Teams alike. Irresistible were clear forerunners in bringing the high production values of traditional commercials into the digital arena. Creating successful and high quality work led them into cross-platform projects in the exciting advertising, music and fashion industries all of which make use of digital as a key component. As such Irresistible have forged a reputation as highly creative producers of effective and entertaining films.


What we’re looking for:

Irresistible is looking for an experienced, driven and effective Business Developer to take Irresistible to a new level. You will be in charge of driving new business from a database of UK advertising, media and PR agencies as well as developing and successfully selling our film services to new and existing client bases. Although an existing database will be supplied, candidates with their own book of contacts within advertising or brands will be considered favourably.


A good knowledge of the commercials industry is preferred but not essential and a strong interest in filmmaking, animation and visual effects would also be advantageous.


You will be a public face of an exciting, progressive and creative company, representing the company’s public profile in a friendly and dynamic manner.  Given the breadth of our client base, you are expected to be able to sell confidently in the creative environments in which we work. You will work directly with the managing director on the growth, development and maintenance of the company’s client base. Developing the core proposition of the company, its PR requirements and attending relevant events. You will be expected to build relationships with clients through a tireless work ethic and affable character, representing our roster of directors both in and out of office hours.  You should be experienced in the strategic targeting of key execs and developing clear initiatives and targets to reflect the company's changing needs.


Key responsibilities:

Take overall responsibility for new business in key markets including Integrated Advertising, PR, Events, and Social Media.

Proactively prospect, qualify, and grow new accounts within said markets

Represent Irresistible with new and existing clients

Drive new business and develop relationships within existing clients

Attend meetings including socialising with clients outside of office hours

Take briefs from clients, assess and share internally as well as with directors

Co-ordinate with creative and production teams to manage pitch and presentations

Develop strong relationships with rostered directors

Work alongside the Marketing and PR team to develop company’s public profile


You will have:

Experience in targeting, sourcing and winning business

A proven track record of selling into Integrated Advertising, PR, Events, and Social Media Agencies

First-rate communication skills

A friendly and affable manner

Attention to detail and good organisation skills

A results driven attitude and real commitment to creating new business opportunities
