Job Summary
Executive Producer
Reports to: Managing Director, Julie Cohen
Liaises with: Head of Production, Head of Development and Head of Strategy.
Based at: Across the Pond - Frith Street, London
The Executive Producer is responsible for taking new briefs, exploring them, brainstorming and helping to build the right teams to bring them to life.  The EP will lead a team of Producers, Assistant Producers, editors, animators and creatives to ensure projects are delivered to the highest quality and to client satisfaction within agreed timings and costs.
Responsible for providing strong leadership and direction to the team of Producers and Assistant Producers in order to oversee the development and delivery of projects on time and on budget and to manage client expectations throughout all stages of delivery
Responsible for allocating work fairly and equally among producers; working with Head of Production / Production managers to match correct resources to projects including use of external resources
Responsible for the overall quality of work delivered by the team. Specifically:  ensuring projects continue to meet need and stay on brief throughout their life-cycle and for appropriate quality at proposal, script and copy stage; for checking edits, critiquing design and illustration during WIP and sign off.
Responsible for searching, meeting and introducing  new creative talent. This will allow for creative options to meet every brief, and for perfect teams to help execute a brief
Responsible for interrogating briefs, acting as creative consultant and ensuring effective and insightful brief-taking by members of team to deliver appropriate, innovative and creative projects for new clients
Responsible for helping grow the business by developing trusted relationships with clients through engagement with the content of projects, development of appropriate creative approaches and ownership of the way Across the Pond anticipates, manages and exceeds their expectations
Responsible for trouble-shooting on projects as necessary and supporting clients and video team in the speedy and effective resolution of any issues
Responsible for ensuring awareness and effective implementation of brand guidelines by producers.
Responsible for the development of the skills and aspirations of the team, for conducting staff appraisals and performance management
Responsible for providing timely and appropriate information to the management team
Education and Experience 
BA/BS degree. In lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience.
Demonstrable experience of working with iconic brands and companies
Agency experience a bonus
Portfolio of high quality, original and successful work
Strong creative and copywriting skills
Proven account management experience
Ability to thrive in a rapid paced environment on multiple projects in a busy atmosphere
Great at rallying teams and creatives to do the best work of their career
Excellent attention to detail and consistency
A healthy interest in technology, social media and interactive content
Familiar with major Google products - GMail, Docs, Drive, YouTube, Android, Maps, Earth
Knowledge of YouTube original, premium programming a bonus
Fluent English is required. Other languages are a plus.
