About the job

As our new Marketing Communications Junior, you work closely with the Global Marketing Communications Director at our HQ in Amsterdam to fulfil the needs of the brand 

code d’azur by executing and implementing Marketing Communications plans, calendars and timelines. Together we will bring the code d’azur brand to the next level. The challenge exists in setting the base for this relatively new division within the company and after that finding newness, consistency and efficiency across all plans.

In this role you ensure smooth running of the division and being an overall support across all media (website, social channels, PR,events,  third parties). You are actively involved in planning and implementing the global marketing strategy across regions. Following a 360 marketing approach, you will be a gatekeeper of unified messaging across the different channels and be involved in all marketing communications facets. From Social media, PR and Events to Internal Communications and Employer branding.

To fill the role successfully, you must keep up with industry trends and have a strong personality, a heart for people & culture, excellent verbal and written communications skills in English and preferably Dutch, a proactive attitude and be able to work independently under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Working alongside the Marketing Communications Director to plan & implement the global Marketing Communications strategy in each market.

  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to produce Marketing Communications assets (for example for social media, events and press articles) and help identifying and establishing how to maximise opportunities to grow the business as well as appeal to job seekers.

  • Social media management. Maintain the different code d’azur social media platforms, at the moment focussing on LinkedIn and Instagram (we might possibly expand this at a later stage). Including: producing, digital design, posting, community management and monthly analytic reports.

  • Drawing up weekly social media calendars with the ability to schedule and carry out community management in appropriate measure.

  • Employer branding; pitch and execute ideas in collaboration with the ‘People team’

  • Support with requests form international markets (Barcelona, Dubai, US)

  • Maintaining the DE&I calendar, produce posts and the design of the online roadmap for the new website

  • PR; support in planning, sourcing and producing creative press releases to various key audiences including media and target audiences.

  • Support, planning and design internal and external events/ conferences/ shows (TNW, SXSW, AdNight, Podcasts, C-Suite events etc).

  • Establish and maintain consistency of the code d’azur brand standards for all Marketing activities executed

  • About you

  • Minimum 1-2 years related experience in a 360 marketing role (including digital and social strategy creation and implementation)

  • Have excellent written and oral English skills 

  • Strong understanding of current and future social media and media concepts on a global scale with cultural sensitivities.

  • Having clear, effective and persuasive communication skills.

  • Have a keen eye for detail and aesthetic.

  • Strongly proficient in Google Docs (Spreadsheets, Documents, Presentations etc.)

  • Experience with web analytics tools: Google Analytics, AdWords, Facebook Business Manager, Scheduling platforms.

  • Be well organised and structured in your approach to planning and execution.

  • Having a proactive and hands-on attitude, with the ability to solve unstructured problems, in a fast-paced environment, and ability to collaborate with global teams to maximize efficiency.

  • Possessing a go-getter attitude, always up for new challenges and ways to tackle them in a timely manner.

  • Flexibility to adapt to a changing and growing business environment

  • Having a friendly, approachable team spirit with a flexible attitude to work, with the ability to collaborate with various global teams.
