Ensemble Studio is FleishmanHillard's multi-disciplinary design agency delivering brand identities, corporate communications and transformational campaigns using print, digital, motion and film.

To help us achieve this, we are looking for a business lead to help us power the next level of transition and integration into a new standard for the agency.

This role is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the direction and growth of a bustling studio environment. Our business is going through quick growth, we’re excited about shaping our reputation to match our ambition and deliver exciting creative. We are in need of a tenacious, enthusiastic and creative individual who is willing to roll their sleeves up, get stuck in and quickly become an integral part of our team.

We view the partnerships with our clients, suppliers and employees at equal importance and looking for an individual to protect and grow our relationships across this ecosystem. The role includes the scope of developing sales strategies to target new clients, maintaining and growing existing client relationships and representing our most important asset, our people.

A studio of 30 individuals (the wider business is 250 people), our team is made up of designers, film makers, producers, strategists, project managers and production.

Your day to day:

  • Business development – Working closely with ‘client advisors & revenue generators’, new business consultant and Creative and Planning team to drive growth in all aspects of design services via new business and organic growth; marketing and reputation building beyond our walls. Join business pitches representing the team and building our reputation.
  • Service offering & oversight of work – Continued evolution of service offering based on business/client/market opportunity; setting the standards for overall quality of work, client service and move to consultancy (from internal teams through to clients).
  • Senior client service – Senior client relationship management and counsel for design-first clients; connecting clients with the right team talent
  • Integration – Building cross-practice relationships and understanding of service offering; setting the approach for integrated ways of work with the team
  • Profiling – Build the reputation of the London team as a centre of excellence, contribution to global initiatives and knowledge share with relevant practices within the business
  • Commercials - Working closely with Studio Lead to oversee the commercial targets of the practice and ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline
  • Operations – Working closely with Operations Director and Manager to ensure resourcing, utilisation and financial operations are managed against standards
  • Talent – Inspiring, guiding and managing the team to build a highly engaged and productive team; ensuring high standards of team management and career development conversations via line management structure; identifying training needs and opportunities
