Creative Resource Manager
Commercial Production
Glasgow, United Kingdom

About

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Creative Resource Manager to join the Cut Media creative team here in Glasgow, Scotland, to support our growing output.

Cut Media is a sports content studio that creates campaigns for sports brands and broadcasters around the world. We work from concept to delivery on everything from social media campaigns to documentaries.

THE ROLE:
Our creative resource manager will be the individual who will help our creative team operate seamlessly. They’ll solve the company’s biggest puzzle on a daily basis: getting the right creatives on the right projects at the right time!

For those familiar with shoot production, the role is essentially a ‘1st AD’ for our creative team- an organised project manager with strong experience and understanding of working with creatives. We’re looking for a people person, adept at building trust and ultimately treading the line between the process of operations and the space to be creative. The result will be delivering on the efficiency of our creative team by managing project workflow and workloads, whilst enabling the team to make the best possible work.

With a passion for building meaningful relationships, this person will get to know our team’s strengths and individual areas of expertise, working closely with both creative and production teams to match skills to each project at the appropriate time. Our creative resource manager will also have an excellent network of creative talent, and will be proactive in seeking out freelance creatives for projects where required.

The creative resource manager will maintain oversight of the production pipeline by both optimising the existing creative resource and forward planning daily, quarterly and yearly outlooks. They will work closely with our creatives to identify and solve roadblocks, report on progress, and propose workflow solutions that nurture a creative, effective and collaborative environment.

And they will probably have a fairly unique party trick.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work directly with our team of creatives to enable the delivery of the highest quality creative work.
Manage creative team and individual schedules
Manage workflow and workload on an individual and team level
Oversee team creation on a project basis, matching requirements to expertise

Manage creative team capacity, identifying roadblocks ahead of time and where sourcing freelance talent will be necessary
Nurture and grow our freelance creative talent network
Track project pipeline and report regularly on project status
Optimise existing resource management system
