We’re looking for a passionate Junior Sustainability & Impact Researcher to join one of London’s fastest-growing independent creative consultancies, Fox & Hare.

This role of Junior Researcher will focus on diving deep into Sustainability and Social Impact projects and helping us make sense of the rich data in the field. You will be working directly with our Senior Sustainability Strategist to support our wide range of clients, from business to charities (as well as the chance to deliver on our sustainability commitments within the agency). You will have the chance to work closely with our clients to drive positive change and deliver upon strategic business objectives. Our ideal candidate will be a quick learner and empathetic communicator, who is innately purpose-driven and passionate about environmental and social topics.

This is an important role for the agency, having opened its doors one year ago, and a huge opportunity for the right person to grow our impact as we continue to grow in size. We’re looking for a Junior Researcher who can bolster all of our departments to deliver superior client value, as well as the agency’s expansion plans over the coming months.

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Working directly with our Senior Sustainability Strategist on all incoming client work, proactive proposals and response to briefs

  • Conducting the research, trends and competitor analyses that are the foundation of our strategic response to clients

  • Helping with the design of qualitative and quantitative primary research

  • Managing the reporting of key findings

  • Presenting research findings in a professional manner internally, making sure they meet the brief

  • Identifying and delivering regular market analysis to support our internal thought leadership initiatives

  • Supporting our Client Services, Creative and Business Development teams in additional research

As well as energy, enthusiasm and research expertise in the consultancy space, to join us you'll also need to:

  • Display a passion and enthusiasm for social and environmental topics

  • Actively demonstrate an inquisitive and curious attitude towards briefs and projects that may come through from all sectors

  • Be able to dissect a lot of information and identify key trends & insights

  • Know your way around data and find creative ways to visualise the findings

  • Ability to learn quickly and be able to juggle multiple projects at the same time

  • Strong communication skills

  • Presentation skills (desirable)

  • Knowledge and experience of sustainability (desirable)

  • Digital and social media experience (desirable)

  • Experience working as a researcher and/or planner (desirable)

Our workspace offers inspiring talks, yoga and meditation sessions that you can access for free, which is another perk of working with Fox & Hare to help #MakePurposePriority.

Fox & Hare is an equal opportunity employer and encourages candidates from all backgrounds. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.

To apply for this role, please share a short story about one research project you really enjoyed. What was the problem you were addressing, how did you approach the research and what were the results in a nutshell? Aim for around 200-400 words.

Send your CV and the answers to the question above to sia@foxandhare.co (subject line: Junior Sustainability & Impact Researcher).
