The role: Flame Artist

On a day to day basis, the role will involve:

Compositing and 2d project management, involving compositing of VFX/CGI elements, and the creation and integration of motion GFX

Pitching and quoting for new work, devising clear methodologies outlining your creative approach to a brief

On-set VFX Supervision, with a confident voice and strong problem-solving abilities

Solving creative problems using simple, efficient techniques, sharing ideas with teammates and iterating rapidly based on client notes

Mentoring and training junior artists in your teams

Confidently engage with clients in pre-prod meetings offering advice & solutions on how to achieve best results

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and nurture your own client network

Ability to react to changes efficiently and meet delivery deadlines

Applicants:

The successful candidate will be a professional and motivated individual displaying the following attributes:

Minimum of 4 years experience working as a compositor in TV/Commercials and/or motion pictures

Must have worked in a client facing role for the past 3 years

Good working knowledge of Flame

On-Set supervision experience

Demonstrated experience implementing fast, effective solutions to shot production challenges

Strong communication and team leadership skills with a friendly, collaborative work ethic

Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail

Ability to be engaged with multiple projects at the same time

Ability to work in a high pressured and evolving environment whilst still delivering top quality results

Good knowledge of photography, filmmaking and VFX techniques and technologies

Knowledge of 3D software packages such as C4D & Maya

Working knowledge of Nuke would be of benefit

Salary will be based on the applicants experience
