Our US office has partnered with a national independent advertising agency who are looking for a new VP of Analytics in their LA office.

In a nutshell, we are looking for a director of analytics from an advertising agency background who can work across all types of media, on and offline.




You’ll be responsible for creating and managing the Analytics program and product offerings and for representing the agency’s analytics capabilities to clients and other stakeholders. 

• Contributing to innovation and help to establish the agency in the marketplace in the area of analytics, including data mining and marketing mix modeling 

• Representing the agency at new client pitches and support business development activities 

• Providing analytics support and insights to departments as needed 

• Design, develop and manage a suite of analytics product, service and technology offerings for our media types (TV, Radio, Print, Digital etc.) 

• Developing data and technology strategies for capturing and processing data and transforming it into actionable analytical products and solutions 

• Architect, build and administer a data warehouse of cross-platform media and response data, databases and data-driven technologies as needed to support client engagements 

• Developing and administering DRTV attribution software for attributing Web responses to TV airings 

• Maintain the Business Intelligence architecture, including dashboards to support in-house reporting/analysis and client-facing dashboards 



• Delivering ongoing custom and ad-hoc reporting and analysis across all Media campaigns 

• Responding to client needs for analytics solutions and design, develop and implement those solutions 

• Providing interpretation and analysis of results that strategically inform/direct agency account and media teams, leading to the optimization of client investment 

• Building and managing a team of analytics professionals to provide analytics for client engagements and to build out and support the agency’s analytics capabilities



• 7-10 years of experience in a leadership role managing analytics programs 

• Degree in relevant field

• Strong experience building and leading analytics programs 

• Strong communication and client-facing “think on your feet” skills 

• Experience with a broad range of models and analytical and statistical solutions, as well as the ability to apply them to a variety of industries and business needs 

• Advanced experience with multi-channel fractional attribution models, DSP/DMP integrations and PMML 

• Advanced experience with R, Python, SQL 

• Advanced knowledge and experience setting up and administering databases like MySQL, MongoDB, Kafka, or similar 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Strong experience architecting and managing Business Intelligence solutions
