Time Based Arts is a leading VFX company working on the many of the best commercials, music video and Film projects in London. We're looking for a dedicated full time systems/ software engineer to help manage software across the company.

Experience in a post production environment and knowledge of VFX and CGI software would be a huge benefit to the person applying for the role. Also an appreciation of visual work / image-making in their own right would be a plus.

Main Responsibilities:
Technical Support for VFX Artists/Production
Troubleshoot render farm issues
Workstation/Laptop setups
Installation and maintenance of software packages
Mac and PC hardware maintenance and troubleshooting
User Account administration
Documentation of procedures
License management
Asset/Inventory Management


Requirements:
Experience of Windows/Mac and, preferably,  command line and Linux 
Basic knowledge of servers, networking, storage and render systems
Enthusiastic with a can do attitude
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Great written and verbal communication skills
Strong teamwork skills
