
Little Black Book is looking for a new Writer + Strategist to join our PR and Content Marketing arm LBB Lab. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the worlds of advertising, film-making, journalism and PR.
This role involves supporting our senior account managers where needed, writing press releases and thought leadership articles, transcribing interviews and meetings, maintaining our press list and databases, liaising with press and maintaining press relationships. This job is client facing and will see you working with CEOs, managing directors, creative directors, executive producers, film directors and PR directors from the likes of advertising agencies, production companies and post production companies (including editing houses, animation studios and music companies). We also work with awards bodies and tech companies - pretty much anyone involved in the advertising process from conception to delivery, so it’s a fantastic opportunity to learn about the industry from the inside out.
You will also be expected to contribute editorially to the publication at least once a month and will be taught how to grow and build client strategies and place effective written content.
LBB is one of the industry’s fastest growing online community and news platforms and there is a huge scope for growth and advancement in the role should the candidate have the right initiative and drive.
What we’re looking for:
Essential:
- A 2:1 degree
- Very confident written English and grammar skills
- Self-driven and diligent
- Great initiative
- Self-organisation
- A proficiency with MS Office packages and an aptitude for learning new software
- A passion for the creative world and a curiosity about business and technology
Desirable:
(Bonus points if you have):
- A familiarity with CMS systems and social media platforms
- Intermediate / advanced Excel skills
- Any journalism training
- Experience at a magazine, website, production company or agency
- Speak foreign languages
