'Everyone loves a little flutter' William Hill and BMB launch Bingo campaign

 

On the 26th October, William Hill Bingo launched its ‘Everyone loves a little flutter’ campaign.  The campaign, launching nationally across TV and online and featuring a set of idents sponsoring Home and Away on C5, focuses on the pure, unbridled enjoyment to be had when playing William Hill Bingo.
 
The 30 second TV advert will air for the first time on Sky Living on 26th October at 7.15am and will receive heavy rotation from then on across ITV, C4, C5 and Sky.
 
The ad features a series of scenarios in which William Hill Bingo customers encounter a huge, brightly coloured bird whenever they manage to record a win. The Bingo birdman turns up in several everyday locations and proceeds to celebrate each bingo call with an elaborate fluttering dance that sends a cloud of bright blue plumage into the air. William Hill have used the birdman character to reinforce the fact that their bingo game is a fun and accessible way to enjoy a little flutter, either at home or on the move. All of the action is set to Surfin’ Bird by The Trashmen and also features the voice of Doon Mackichan of The Day Today and Smack The Pony fame.

In addition to the full 30” ad BMB has developed a series of 15”, 10” and 5” idents for the upcoming sponsorship of C5’s Home and Away, launching on the 1st November. They feature the same William Hill Birdman in a minimalist environment where he waits patiently for another William Hill Bingo winner to emerge, thus giving him another opportunity to flutter his wings in wild celebration.
