Walter Mauriot Latest Addition to Hagon Edit’s Roster
London-based company swells its ranks
Hagon Edit has added Walter Mauriot to its roster of editors and will exclusively represent him in the UK and US. Mauriot is a long established talent in his native France having edited award-winning global work for Adidas, Nissan, Jay-Z, Kanye West and MIA with directors Romain Gavras and Wilfred Brimo.
Hagon Edit is a London-based film editing company with a global roster of clients includiNg Canal+, Audi, Ericsson, Heineken, Mastercard and Boots.
Last year award-winning editor Jono Griffiths signed to the company to work alongside founder Alex Hagon and producer Zoe Hockings.
The Canal+ ‘Bear’ film edited by Griffith won the Grand Prix for Film Craft at Cannes and earlier this year picked up a gold D&AD pencil for editing.
These plaudits are the latest success in a long and fruitful collaboration between Griffiths and director Matthijs van Heijningen – their Canal+ film ‘Closet’ was also awarded a Gold Cannes Lions Film Craft award. Griffiths is currently finalising a feature directed by Ben Gregor of Knucklehead.
