Ogilvy today announced that Corrina Murphy is appointed as chief martech officer in Singapore.

In this newly created role, Corrina will accelerate Ogilvy’s Martech innovation and leadership by actively consulting with a number of key clients, pulling together agency capabilities and partners to provide end to end solutions and governance. She will also join the local Ogilvy Leadership Team and head up the Digital Transformation capability in Singapore. She reports to Chris Riley, group chairman for Singapore and Malaysia, Ogilvy and Ab Gaur, global head of Ogilvy’s Marketing Technology Center of Excellence (CoE), a 1,200-person unit within Ogilvy responsible for all end to end Technology and Platform related client solutions, from Strategy to Delivery.

“During this turbulent time with the impact of the global pandemic, there has never been a more immediate need for brands to focus on business adaptability, digital transformation and change leadership. Corrina’s role as our first chief martech officer in Singapore will be instrumental in helping brands navigate this difficult time together, and shape Ogilvy’s technology solutions for the future while working with over 1,200 subject matter experts in the region. Her deep experience in driving integration and technology innovation in large cross-functional teams will be invaluable to our clients.” said Chris Riley, group chairman for Singapore and Malaysia, Ogilvy.

Ab Gaur, global head of Ogilvy's Martech CoE added: “Ogilvy is a key partner and acting as their Centre of Excellence for Martech solutions, we welcome the addition of someone with Corrina’s calibre as we jointly grow capabilities and services for clients. She will bring the best from among our extraordinary technology partners including Google, Adobe, Salesforce and Sitecore to clients.”

Corrina has over fifteen years of experience in the marketing technology and service industry, with her most recent position as VP, client success and operations for Zeta Global in London. Throughout her career, she has led relationships with over 50 client partners across continents in Asia, Australia, Europe and the Americas. Her passion is leading marketing transformation, extracting value from data and communications, driving Martech optimisation and delivering operational excellence across different industries using an agile mindset. Her experience with clients such as eBay, British Airways, PayPal and Dell has demonstrated her range of skills to collaborate, consult, develop and deliver measurable technology plans that lead to business growth, profitability and enhanced customer engagement.

Corrina said: “This is a challenging time with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic impacting brands globally. However, joining Ogilvy at this time has brought an opportunity to support brands by mitigating problems associated with meeting unprecedented customer and business needs. Specifically, how brands can realise additional benefits from their Martech investments by navigating the adaptability, increased adoption and optimisation of their infrastructure.”

“During this period, I would advise brands to focus on their Martech readiness to deliver greater personalisation of their omni-channel customer journey. Additionally, increasing their technology automation and addressing process waste that will bring quicker speed to market and increased efficiency of their employees. Therefore, freeing more of their employees time to mobilise more strategic talent around digital innovation, change and transformation programmes that allow brands to adapt against the rapidly changing customer landscape. I’m thrilled to embark on this new journey at Ogilvy along with the regional Martech businesses. I look forward to partnering with brands to navigate through this turbulent time and beyond by embedding Martech innovation at the heart of their business planning,” Corrina added.
