MUH-TAY-ZIK | HOF-FER Names Gary Theut Associate Partner

Integrated ad agency MUH-TAY-ZIK | HOF-FER is thrilled to announce the joining of Gary Theut as associate partner and director of account management. Theut was previously VP of Account Services at Pereira & O’Dell. After an exhaustive search to find a qualified management candidate with an appropriately hard-to-pronounce last name, Theut joins co-founders John Matejczyk, ECD, and Matt Hofherr, Director of Strategy, in leading the MUH-TAY-ZIK | HOF-FER account team. He brings a strong record of leadership that fits the agency’s independent culture.

After nearly a decade of traditional experience with JWT, The Martin Agency and Publicis Hal Riney, Theut shifted focus to interactive at Lot21 (Carat) then AKQA where he had the opportunity to help develop groundbreaking campaign work for Bank of America, McDonald's, Coke and Microsoft. Theut’s dedication to creative innovation then helped produce some of Pereira & O’Dell’s best known work including Airbnb's first global campaign and Intel/Toshiba's multiple Effie and Cannes Grand Prix Lion winning "Inside" campaign.
