Mother NY Brings On Board a Creepy Stalker to Recruit Interns

Mother New York welcomes Donald Buscando, formerly of Obscurity, into the newly created role of Director of Online Networking. Buscando will focus primarily on discovering and collaborating with the next generation of insatiably curious and exceptionally talented creators that will determine the future of the advertising and design industries. He will report directly to Mother NY founding partner Paul Malmstrom.

“Technology is creating and recreating our world in real time. It can be used to nefarious or legitimate ends. I’m excited to get to work focusing on the latter. It’s incredibly exciting to be part of the family here at Mother. It’s a exceptionally creative and forward thinking group of people. I’m ready to get started doing great things together,” states Buscando.

This is Buscando’s first agency job, but he brings hardworking below the line experience to Mother. Previously, he has worked to drive some of the most visible banner campaigns on the digital platform from the “Scientists Hate Him!” campaign to LiveJasmin.com. Buscando’s work has generated millions of engagements across all seven continents.

His first project at Mother will be a test of the methods Buscando has cultivated throughout his career. Leveraging big data to identify and bring in the best and brightest new creatives, strategists and producers to Mother’s Summer Intern Program through cross-platform social networking and the aggregation of thousands and thousands of LinkedIn profiles.
