Creative team strengthened with five promotions

Global retail and brand consultancy, FITCH, has announced a raft of promotions within its creative division including a new role for Alasdair Lennox who moves from Creative Director to Executive Creative Director for EMEA.

Lennox will be responsible for the strategic creative direction for four studios and lead an international team of Creative Directors and Design Directors.

Since joining the agency in the late nineties as a junior environmental designer, Lennox has evolved a broad spectrum of design skills and is able to bring a brand’s unique personality to life across all touch points in the customer journey. Lennox has solved complex commercial and strategic challenges for international clients including adidas, Vodafone, Diageo, UBS and Apple.

Lennox has been an integral part of successful FITCH campaigns and has numerous industry awards to his name including EuroBest and DBA Design Effectiveness. A keen industry contributor, Lennox regularly judges and speaks at conferences and produces white papers including FITCH’s Gen Z Shopping: How to design for the constant state of partial attention.

FITCH has also promoted Phil Heys and John Regan from Design Directors to Creative Directors in the London office. Heys and Regan will report into Lennox and take responsibility for the creative output of the London studio.

Heys’ career in design began in Hong Kong with Landor Associates, before joining FITCH in 2003. Specialising in 2D design Heys has worked across significant global clients for FITCH recently leading the adidas World Cup identity and previously working with Coca Cola, Nokia and HSBC.

Regan joined FITCH in 2006 specialising in 3D design. John has been responsible for the creative teams delivering projects such as designing Harrods T5 (Heathrow airport), World Duty Free Group, Orco Group’s expansive Vaci1 luxury department store in Budapest and Vodafone global retail.

The agency has also announced promotions for Anna Chimes and Paul Chatalier from Associate Design Directors to Design Directors. Taking responsibility of creative teams in the London office, Chimes and Chatalier will report into Alasdair Lennox.

David Blair, Managing Director for EMEA at FITCH said: “Over the past couple of years, Alasdair, Phil, John, Anna and Paul have been diligently and brilliantly raising our creative output and I’m thrilled that we’ve been able to recognise their achievements with these promotions.”

The agency moves come after an exciting and busy year for FITCH, following its recent campaign for adidas at the World Cup 2014.
