Proving that you don't have to spend money to have fun with money, DDB Worldwide recently tapped Fluid Editorial to deliver a range of post-production services on a raucous new spot for the New York Lottery.
The campaign features iconic US presidents tearing it up at a beach rave – bringing a whole new meaning to partying with your good friends Washington, Lincoln, Franklin and the rest. With shades of Jersey Shore and Ibiza Uncovered, the spot directed by Dave Meyers of @radicalmedia shows the various Mr Presidents hooking up with fellow partygoers, smoking suspect substances, scarfing burritos and enjoying what looks like vodka melon. Fluid editor John Piccolo to give a spliced-up party vibe to the spot.
This commercial follows on from New York Lottery’s previous spot, a Walking Dead-inspired ad that saw a hoarde of lumbering zombies shuffling through a deserted city in a quest to get their decayed paws on a ticket.
