Bucks Music Announces Worldwide Publishing Agreement with Play Records Publishing

Bucks Music Group is happy to announce a worldwide publishing agreement with Play Records Publishing, home of Canada’s biggest powerhouse Dance label Play Records, established in 1996 by Melleny Melody and Zachary Spider Brown Smith.

The deal will see Bucks representing over 1000 works worldwide, including a number of works by Joel Zimmerman aka Deadmau5 such as the ground-breaking single ‘Faxing Berlin’, ‘Vexillogy’ and ‘At Play’ albums. The catalogue also includes works by artists: Mellefresh, Azari and III, Spekrfrks, Calvertron, Billy Newton-Davis, Sick Individuals, Kolombo, Federico Scavo, Mendo, Craziibizia, Lazy Rich.

In April 2014 Play Records moved their Toronto offices to the heart of King’s Cross where they have opened a 2,500ft, multi-room studio space and writing facility called Play Deep Studios, home to the UK’s only Otari series 54, 32 channel, analogue inline, fully automated mixing desk.
