Daughter of pop artist Peter Blake works with Supermundane & RUDE for Beagle Street

Some of the UK’s leading illustrators have produced a series of new artworks designed to keep people from losing their life insurance policy details.

Beagle Street, the online life insurance company, has commissioned Rose Blake, daughter of legendary pop artist Sir Peter Blake, Supermundane and RUDE to create limited edition ENJOY LIFE prints, which are being released to new customers. Each artwork has a specially printed area on the back that displays policy details, meaning the prints can be hung on the wall or given to a loved one to hang on theirs so they can easily find the policy if they need to.

Beagle Street acted to include the prints as part of its Never Lost Guarantee service after research revealed the average British adult will misplace over 66,000 items in a lifetime and 27 per cent of people said they had ‘no idea’ where their important paperwork was.

The findings reveal that employment contracts, mortgage and rental agreements and life insurance policies are the most commonly lost pieces of paperwork in the home. The most common everyday items that are misplaced are mobile or smartphones, stationery, paperwork, house keys and glasses.

Other features of the Beagle Street Never Lost Guarantee service include storing policy details online, giving customers the option to notify loved ones when they take out a policy and sending a copy to keep safe at home.

Matthew Gledhill, managing director of Beagle Street, comments: “Losing a phone and keys are everyday occurrences and we waste an awful lot of time looking searching for them, but people simply cannot afford to lose a document like a life insurance policy. There are millions of pounds worth of unclaimed payouts in the UK and we want to make sure our customers and their loved ones never miss out on money owed to them. By turning our policies into works of art to hang on a wall, we’re making it really easy for people to find their life insurance policy if needed.”
