CP+B creates industrial strength sequel campaign

Last year, Applebee'sand Crispin Porter + Bogusky armed the hard-working public with inflatable decoys to help them take back their lunch breaks.  This year, they've upped the ante with their new Lunch Combos menu which allows customers to create over 200 delicious combinations of soups, salads, sandwiches, and pastas. That means work-bound employees will need their lunch decoys more than over - so CP+B have created a new campaign that introduces the new Industrial Strength Lunch Decoy. Made with plastic that’s 20% thicker- it's built to help folks ditch their desks and take back their lunches all year long.  Applebee's tested the strength of the dolls with commonplace work hazards in mind, such as annoying coworkers, coffee spills, and you know, surprise ninja attacks.

And as a bonus, they're tossing in a customization accessories kit complete with mustaches and tattoos to help the dolls keep up with their owners' evolving style.

CP+B have created a :30 TV spot and a long form web video demonstrate the decoys industrial strength.  A landing page on applebees.com, banners, an email, and some custom content from the likes of BuzzFeed and the Huffington Post all drive folks to purchase their decoys on Amazon.com.
