Cape Town is the second largest city in South Africa and is the legislative capital. The South African coastline stretches about 2,500 km, and across two oceans.

South Africa has a great production and advertising infrastructure in place to help you to capture all it has to offer on film and the population is as diverse as the landscape. While it does have statistically high levels of crime, this should not deter you from visiting or working in Cape Town. Put yourself in the capable hands of your production crew and be aware and you will be safe.

South Africa has a varied topography and climate, making for endless shooting landsapes. From desert to sea, to sub tropical, to plateau, to lush greenery, the scenery is ever changing. It is also one of only 17 countries that is considered 'megadiverse' with over 20,000 different types of plants or 10% of the known species on Earth. It is also home to some rather far out animals!
